１、by the window

• 意味：窓側で（窓際の席）。

• 使い方：席の希望・案内。

• 例文

A table by the window, please.（窓側の席をお願いします。）

We have a table by the window available.（窓側が空いています。）

• 置き換え：by the aisle / by the wall / near the entrance。

• メモ：“near the window” でもOKだが、席指定は “by the window” が自然。

２、if possible

• 意味：可能なら／できれば。

• 使い方：丁寧に希望を添えるクッション表現。

• 例文

By the window, if possible.（できれば窓側で。）

A quiet table, if possible.（可能なら静かな席で。）

• 置き換え：if you can / if that’s available / if that’s okay。

• メモ：語尾に添えるだけで丁寧さUP。イントネーションを下げて控えめに。

３、follow me

• 意味：こちらへどうぞ（ついてきてください）。

• 使い方：案内時の定番フレーズ。

• 例文

Of course. Please follow me.（かしこまりました。ご案内します。）

This way, please.（こちらへどうぞ。）

Right this way to your table.（こちらがお席です。）

• メモ：“follow me” は指示が強めなので “Please” や “This way” を添えると丁寧。サービス業では笑顔＋手の合図もセットで。
