１、taxi stand

• 意味：タクシー乗り場（待機場所・乗降指定スペース）。

• 使い方：場所の確認・案内。

• 例文

Where is the taxi stand?（タクシー乗り場はどこですか。）

The taxi stand is next to the bus stop.（バス停の横にあります。）

Please wait in the taxi stand line.（乗り場の列でお待ちください。）

• 置き換え：英（英）taxi rank、口語 taxi queue。

• メモ：道で拾う＝hail a taxi（手を挙げて止める）。ホテル前の乗り場＝hotel taxi stand。

2、tell the driver

• 意味：（同行者・スタッフに）運転手に伝えてもらう。

• 使い方：目的地・降車場所・経由先などを確実に伝えるとき。

• 例文

Could you tell the driver “Tokyo Station, Marunouchi Exit”?

（運転手さんに「東京駅・丸の内口」と伝えてもらえますか。）

Please tell the driver to drop me off at the south gate.

（南口で降ろすように伝えてください。）

Tell the driver I’ve already paid.（支払い済みと伝えてください。）

• 言い換え：Please let the driver know… / Please inform the driver…（やや丁寧）

• メモ：引用は “…” でOK。地名＋出口は … Exit/Gate。より直接なら自分で Take me to Tokyo Station, Marunouchi Exit, please. でも◎。

３、write it down

• 意味：（それを）書き留める、メモに書く。write down + 目的語 でも可。

• 使い方：聞き間違い防止・漢

  字地名の提示・運転手に見せるメモ作成。

• 例文

I’ll write it down as well.（メモにも書いておきます。）

Could you write it down in English/romaji?（英語／ローマ字で書いていただけますか。）

Please write down the address and phone number.（住所と電話番号を書いてください。）

• 言い換え：jot it down（手短に書く）、note it down（英）。

• メモ：地名は “Tokyo Station, Marunouchi Exit” のようにカンマで区切ると読みやすい。車内で見せる用に紙メモやスマホメモが便利。
